Prima, a leading facility management provider in Cambodia, has inked yesterday an agreement with the German cleaning equipment manufacturer Kärcher. Prima will now serve as the official Kärcher distributor in Cambodia.
Additionally, Prima will also become the first facility management company in the country to use and resell Kärcher products at the same time, according to Sivgech Heang, Managing Director. The Phnom-Penh based Facility Management group should receive its first shipments by end of August 2020.
Prima plans to use the new equipment at the majority of its client facilities in Phnom Penh and beyond, and to include Kärcher equipment in its marketing promotions. The challenge, however, will be to convince Cambodian buyers that the relatively expensive Kärcher products provide better value and quality than the existing, mostly Chinese goods on the market.
Ms Heang says the major selling point will be the increased work automation, reduction in human labor costs and efficiency in specialized cleaning; Kärcher equipment is especially good at hard to remove stains.
The business agreement with Kärcher, recognizing Prima Facility Management as a Building Service Contractor, will strengthen the already ongoing cooperation by officially letting Prima resell Kärcher equipment in Cambodia as a dealer.
“We are delighted to begin this partnership, our commitment is to our customers and by using the best quality, world-class equipment, we will be able to service them better”, said Ms Heang.
Prima services over 80 facilities across Phnom Penh, including shopping malls, cafes, and condominium buildings.
