Prima Facility Management signed today a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for mutual growth and support with GGear, an LG Electronics Brand, and a major electronics and telecommunication company. The aim of this cooperation is to provide higher quality services in the air conditioning industry in Cambodia by expanding LG’s air conditioning business and Prima’s services in the
electronic market.
The MoU signing ceremony for cooperation between Prima and GGear was held at At LG’s Tuol Kork branch in Phnom Penh on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. Following the ceremony, the attendees were given the opportunity to tour the LG’s GGear center, and thus discussed future plans for the mutual cooperation between the two organizations.
With the support from GGear, Prima will offer LG’s air-conditioning systems to commercial and residential clients across Phnom Penh and nearby provinces. Under the new agreement, GGear will provide Prima with sales and technical support on LG air-conditioning product range to create better and more efficient solutions for Prima’s clients. The two sides will work toward the common goal of providing better suited air-conditioning solutions to clients through 1) lower, corporate pricing amended monthly; 2) technical support and training; 3) marketing and technical materials sharing.
The MOU also included a business vision exchange in the fields of hospitality and residential property development in Phnom Penh and nearby provinces. Along with the existing programs, the collaboration entails promoting joint marketing opportunities to deliver world-class air conditioning solutions in Cambodia.
“We seek ways to promote LG air-conditioning technology with GGear based on excellent performance capabilities in various fields, such as power efficiency, quality control, power electronics, ergonomics, and design,” said Ms. Sivgetch Heang, Managing Director of Prima Facility Management. “We expect to achieve breakthrough performance through such collaboration.”
Under the agreement, the two sides also agreed to facilitate a promotion program that allows staff at Prima Facility Management to gain further skills. Accordingly, the selected employees will be able to complete training programs in LG equipment installation, including the air-conditioners used in commercial and residential settings.
“We are delighted to establish a cooperative relationship with GGear, Cambodia’s major LG distribution firm, towards a common purpose of promoting future growth engines,” Ms Heang added. “We hope to lead the air-conditioning industry in Cambodia in the near future through joint collaboration projects and work.”
